A Rootin' Tootin' Good Time

This little cow poke turned six back in September. She decided she wanted a country theme for her party and it was awesome! There were hay bales, horse shoes, mason jars of wild flowers and even a real horse saddle. Instead of a traditional cake all the guests dined on carmel apples, while the birthday girl had a personal cupcake. The kiddos enjoyed face painting and designing their own sheriff badges. There were so many cute kids there! I wish we could share more! We had an absolute blast capturing all the fun.
Mason jars make such cute vases!

I love her little tears. She's so cute!
In case you couldn't tell, the kids were having a great time.

This little one had the most stunning eyes.

Mmmm.... Carmel apples.

Each kiddo went home with one of these hats & a bandanna!

Christening

In August I had the pleasure of shooting a small wedding ceremony and christening at the Good Shepard Catholic Church near Mira Mar. The church is very nice and the entire event was quite intimate with a small group of friends and family attending. I must give a big thanks to Albie of Albie Photography for letting me share their special moments! Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Quite the character!

Coordinators Connect

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of covering the first Coordinators Connect meeting. It was wonderful meeting more wedding professionals and Candelas was the perfect place to do it! The weather was perfect and Kim and her staff at Candelas were ever so gracious. The meeting did eventually turn into a dinner party, which was my fault; I had to have the seafood pasta again! Thanks to everyone involved for making it quite the enjoyable evening!

Bubble Up! 2009

I had the pleasure of shooting the Bubble Up charity auction a couple weekends ago. The event is held at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla and raises funds to sponsor youth science programs. The venue was beautiful and the myriad of auction items was a wonder to behold. I have to thank my colleague Mr. Simeon Rodgers, whom I was assisting, for the opportunity. Here is just a sample of what I was able to garner from behind the lens.
