A Christmas Surprise!

Taryn's mother is a very talented artist. She is marvelously skilled at transferring a photograph from print to canvas with India Ink or pastels. One of her favorite subjects is the horse. When we shot a wedding with horses last May, immediately she asked"Did you get any good photos of the horses?". With that in mind, we setup a secret shoot with Jessica, our totally awesome bride from May. We spent over two hours with Jessica and her beautiful equine companions crafting the perfect gift. The secret was pretty safe too, though Carson did spill the beans about riding and leading one of the horses!

Yesterday our mother opened a disk of high-resolution, extra-sharp horse photos. Over 200 of them. We hope you enjoy this selection of those, it was very hard to choose!

Our gracious hostess, Jessica & her horse Chico.

We were blessed with majestic skies for this shoot!

Smile!

Richard & Helen Holiday Portraits

My parents came to visit over Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful holiday and made the time for a photo shoot! I've attached some of our favorites from Balboa Park. We took a slow stroll from the organ pavilion through the botanical building. These two shaped me into the man I am today and after 31 years together they are still totally in love. Thanks to you for showing us how it's done!

See....still got it!

My favorite!

Grandchildren & Grandparents have such wonderful relationships.

Family Portrait Swap In Julian

We went up to Julian with our good friends from M(Squared) Photography and did a family photo swap. We had a great time. It was kind of a photo free for all. We all passed our cameras around and in some cases it was hard to tell who took what! Obviously the photos with just us Bergmanns were captured by Marj or Matt though. Anywho, the leaves were still on the trees and as colorful as could be. We were so happy to have that little taste of fall. Though I think I could have done without the cold and wind.
