Julian, Lake Cuyamaca and...Cold!

We took a day trip out to Julian for a session with this adorable 3 year old. The photos and session were fun but the weather report was grossly wrong. 61 and partly cloudy became a bright but frigid 45, before the wind hit you! Regardless our little friend was a trooper! I don't think we had as much fun as he did though. Romping at the orchard followed by the lake kept the little one quite entertained.

The Simple Things

A few weeks ago we went for a walk around Lake Cuyamaca which is up in the mountains near Julian, CA. It was the perfect place to let Carson roam freely. We got some fun pictures of him playing in the weeds there. The simplest things really do keep kids occupied. Those weeds were fascinating!
