Family Portrait Swap In Julian

We went up to Julian with our good friends from M(Squared) Photography and did a family photo swap. We had a great time. It was kind of a photo free for all. We all passed our cameras around and in some cases it was hard to tell who took what! Obviously the photos with just us Bergmanns were captured by Marj or Matt though. Anywho, the leaves were still on the trees and as colorful as could be. We were so happy to have that little taste of fall. Though I think I could have done without the cold and wind.

Julian, Lake Cuyamaca and...Cold!

We took a day trip out to Julian for a session with this adorable 3 year old. The photos and session were fun but the weather report was grossly wrong. 61 and partly cloudy became a bright but frigid 45, before the wind hit you! Regardless our little friend was a trooper! I don't think we had as much fun as he did though. Romping at the orchard followed by the lake kept the little one quite entertained.

Move Over Johnny... There's a New Appleseed in Town

Carson loves apples. He can both say the word and make the sign for apples. It wasn't much of a surprise to find him in absolute heaven in an orchard up in Julian on Sunday evening. He was trying to pick up so many apples that he kept losing them on the ground. It was so funny watching him try to pick one up, only to drop another. It was a vicious, but adorable cycle. We found the cutest little apple orchard/vineyard to shoot these pictures. It has so many great spots for photos. I'm sure we will need to take Carson on a return trip one of these days. Maybe to actually pick some apples that we can bring home with us. Yum!
